Supporting Statewide Coordination and Understanding of ESU Services
The Service Management and Reporting Tool (SMART) is a statewide platform and data-driven process that supports the coordination, tracking, and reporting of services provided by Nebraska’s Educational Service Units (ESUs). Managed by the ESU Coordinating Council, SMART helps identify district needs, align services accordingly, and ensure that efforts are documented consistently and informed by accurate, shared data—supporting effective implementation at the local level.

Bring SMaRT to Your ESA!
Educational Service Agencies (ESAs) outside of Nebraska can partner with the ESU Coordinating Council to develop and implement a customized SMART system tailored to their local context. This fee-for-service offering supports agencies in establishing consistent service tracking, reporting, and data-informed decision-making.
