Overview

Scholastic Library Publishing, Inc. (division of Scholastic Inc.) provides targeted solutions for use in every area of the literacy block, featuring a wide range of authentic text and research-based instruction. The wide variety of programs can be used in conjunction with existing materials or together as an integrated literacy framework.  We offer a comprehensive selection of non-fiction, fiction and reference materials, maintaining, on average, more than 4,000 titles.

Launched as a digital resource in 1998, Scholastic GO! (GO) is a comprehensive source of nonfiction for children.

 GO articles are written at four reading levels of increasing complexity.  Search results display each article’s reading level and allow users to refine results by reading level.  This range of text complexity and ease of matching readers to text make GO a superb resource for children expected to connect to higher standards.

TrueFlix is an engaging social studies and science digital product created primarily for students in grades 3 through 5. TrueFlix leverages the award-winning True Books content to help students hone literacy skills, build knowledge of subject-area content, and cultivate 21st Century skills through the inquiry process. TrueFlix currently offers over 217 units. Each unit consists of an introductory video, the e-book version of a True Book with read aloud technology, over 15 related articles, stories, primary sources and poems, multiple related websites, a quiz, a game, a lesson plan and a project idea.
